for a Mentors BBQ.

All those interested in learning more about becoming a mentor are invited.

"All students are 'at-risk'; and would benefit from having a Mentor. Being 'at-risk' is just part of adolescence.

Because of CONNECTING HOPE, we at journey mentoring are able to work with parents, guidance departments, principals, teachers, coaches, pastors, DCF, Washington County Mental Health and others identifying 'higher risk' students that want to be part of journeying with an adult who makes time to invest so much more than money.

I hope our mentees learn to not only participate but also to become engaged in the process; benefiting both the Mentee and Mentor.

Mentors learn that mentoring is more of an art than a science."
